蒋义说，朋友们都笑称自己是在“沙漠”中造一片文化绿洲！从他的谈话中，不难看出他是个自信的人，一句话归结蒋义与“824”的关系：他赋予了这里太多的感情。

3年前，龟北路1号还是闲置的钢铁车间，了解武汉历史的人对此一定不陌生，这里是汉阳钢厂的原址，1893年，由湖广总督张之洞亲自兴办。
“蛰伏”这里近两年后，蒋义才将这里推广宣传，它有了一个新的名字：“汉阳造”艺术区、824创意工厂。
在“纪念汉冶萍公司创建100周年暨保护利用‘汉阳造’近代工业遗产”研讨会上，皮明庥、冯天瑜等多位知名专家学者建议，在现汉阳钢厂旧址上建设武汉近代工业博物馆和张之洞工业遗产创意产业园，汉阳将形成绵延5公里的工业旅游带，集中一批优势创意企业，并以此为孵化器形成产业带。“汉阳造”也将申请中国非物质文化遗产。
从晴川阁沿着龟北路出发，几分钟后就能看到沉睡在路边近一个世纪的“定汉神铁”，走到琴台大道上，就能看到张之洞与汉阳铁厂博物馆，而马路的另一边，是美丽的月湖主题公园和宏伟的琴台大剧院。这条线路绵延约5公里，从前是十里工业长廊，今后将是十里工业旅游带。824以其独特的艺术氛围领跑此处，也难怪蒋义对“824”充满信心。
为什么叫“824”？
“824”工厂是新中国的代号军工厂，现在成为创意产业的发源地，引导时尚潮流趋向。和北京“798”工厂有着类似的历史背景。
老厂房如此洋气
来这里的大多是白领、艺术家，也有政府官员，很多人坦言：“824”能找到一种其他空间没有的东西。曲径通幽、闹中取静让这里自然与外界隔离开来，而老厂房的历史气息，让文化气氛与生俱来。
“很多人都喜欢老房子，是因为老房子里总能找到过去。”蒋义说，“这就是我选择这里的原因，而在装修设计上采取了因地制宜，保留本有特色的同时，并将现代与古老；东方与西方相结合。”
这个千米的小院就是蒋义的“汉阳造”824创意工厂，它还有个很雅致的别号：东方会馆。蒋义说自己是十几年的佛教俗家弟子，所以，这里有很多与佛有关的东西。
院落按照佛家四院三通的建筑格局设计，进门口的玄关极富苏州园林特色，而靠右边的整堵千佛墙就是“824”文艺沙龙的外部特征，正殿、客堂、罗汉堂、地藏堂、观音堂……各有特色。
在“824”坐下，感受了会馆中最大的中西式聚会场所。此时这里正举办彭燃先生的油画写生展，可以看出这里已经聚集了不少的人气。而人气可不是说出来的，看看名片墙就知道了。
所谓名片墙，就是蒋义用厂房大铁门为背景，红酒的瓶塞做出一堵名片墙，看后很想跃跃欲试，我也贴了一张，蒋义马上说，你是这里的一份子了。
400平米的复式文艺沙龙里，总体为开放式结构，材质多为玻璃、木板、钢架构，至少可以同时容纳50-100人，除了西式的红酒吧台和壁炉外，这里更多的是中式风格。
名片墙上方有一块匾很特别，上面写着：光被四表。蒋义说，这四字出自《尚书 尧典》，下句是，格于上下。是他在一次很偶然的机会发现的。
最吸引人的还数T台，以钢化玻璃为底，陈列各式表演器材，大型的投影仪，不论哪个地方观看都有全新的角度。
沙龙里经常会接待各种聚会和时尚派对，提起了这个，蒋义便饶有兴致的说起2007年8月25号接待的第一次活动，眼神中，多少透露出几分难掩的自豪。
穿过正清和堂，看过释迦牟尼塑像，走一走会馆的亭台回廊，路过会馆餐厅，最后一站是蒋义的私人空间，现在用来接待会员。阳光斑驳散落下来，头顶上方仿佛水墨画铺绘，原来是钢化玻璃房顶，水墨画是那些枯叶尘土的天然堆积，很特别。
在印度香发出独特气味的房间里，我们结束了访问，我问蒋义最欣赏“824”的什么？他说，“824”就是给人一个和自己独处的机会。在这里，可以卸下面具与心灵对话。
老地方新景象
近2000平方的汉钢老厂房，墙外是炫酷的动漫涂鸦，厂房内被分割成几十个玻璃单间。这里就是利用旧厂房开发的动漫创意基地。
100年前，中国近代第一家钢铁巨人就在这里矗立。再过5年，这里就是另外一番景象。北京文化、时尚界前沿人士聚集的“798”艺术区将被搬到这里，动漫、行为艺术、摇滚歌手将在这里上演他们的后现代生活。
小解北京798
北京“798”艺术区位于北京朝阳区大山子地区，是原国营798厂等电子工业的厂区所在地。大量厂房闲置后，大批艺术家租下厂房进行各种艺术创作，慢慢形成了今天的“798”艺术区。

After nearly tow years secluded life Jiang Yi promote it with a new name "Hanyang-made" art area, 824 creativity factory.
In the seminar of “commemorate the 100th anniversary of the company founded by Han Yeping with protect and take use of 'Hanyang made' modern industrial estate", Pi Mingxiu, Feng Tianyu, and so on a number of famous experts and scholars suggested to build Wuhan Modern Industry Museum and the Zhang Zhidong industrial heritage and innovative industrial park on the former site of Hanyang steel plant. There will be a five km industrial tourism zone in Hanyang to gather a number of advantage and creative enterprises to take shape an industrial belt based on it. "Hanyang made" will also apply for non-material cultural heritage of China.
Starting along the Guibei Road from Qingchuan Pavilion several minutes later you can see the “Hanyang iron” that standing in the street nearly a century. Walking on the Qingtai Road you can see the Zhang Zhidong and Hanyang Iron Works Museum and on the other side of the road are Moon Lake Theme Park and Qintai Grand Theatre. This five kilometers line was the ten mils industrial corridor in the past but it will be an industrial tourism zone in the future. No wonder Jiang Yi is full of confidence with 824 for its unique artistic sense.
Why call it "824"?
"824" is a code-named military plant of new China, as the birthplace of creative industries to dominate the fashion trends now. Sharing a similar historical background with "798" factory in Beijing.
Old factory looks such fashionable
Mostly guest here are white-collar workers, artists, but also government officials, many people said frankly: you can find something in “824” that not find elsewhere. Winding path leading to a secluded spot, you can enjoy peace and quiet from noisy surroundings and the historical flavor of the old plant has taken an inherent culture.
"A lot of people like the old house, because in here they can always find the past." Jiang Yi said, "This is the reason I chose here also decorate it according to its circumstance and unique essence to make a perfect integration of modern and ancient also East and West.”
The 1,000 m small courtyard is the “Hanyang made”824 innovative factory. And it also has a very elegant alias: East Hall. Jiang Yi said here are many things related with Buddha because he is a Buddhist for more than ten years.
The courtyard designs according to the Buddhism style, the porch full of features of Suzhou gardens and the entire thousand Buddhism wall on the right hand is the external characteristics of "824" Arts Sharon, the main hall, living hall, Lohan hall,Dizang hall, Kuanyin hall……each has its own merits.
In the largest eastern and western style meeting place of "824", Mr. Peng Ran’s oil painting exhibition is going on at the moment, here are gathered lots of popularity just look at the wall of business cards you’ll understand what I said.
The wall of business cards is made of red wine stoppers by Jiang Yi and takes the big iron gate as the background. That is also attract me to put on my business card, immediately said Jiang Yi, you are one of us.
It is an open-structure 400-square-meter duplex Arts Sharon witch made of glass, wood and steel structure. It can at least accommodate 50-100 people simultaneously, in addition to Western-style wine bar and fireplace, here more is a Chinese style.
There is a very special plaque at the top of Business card wall, reading: shine brilliantly.Jiang Yi said that the words come from《Shangshu Rao Dian》and the next sentence is: glorious trough the Ages. He discovered it by chance.
The most attractive thing still is T-stage with the tempered glass as the bottom and displays kinds of performance equipment and large projectors, you can always have new perspectives from any angle.
Talks about various gatherings and fashion parties held in Sharon, Jiang Yi remembered the first project he received in August 25, 2007 with a bit of pride in his eyes.
Through the ZhengQingHe hall and Sakyamuni statue, stroll around the corridors and pass hall restaurant we comes to Jiang Yi’s personal space witch now used to receive members. Mottled sunlight scattered down at the top of the head like a painting. It turns out that the painting is an accumulation of the natural leaves and dust through the tempered glass roof.
In a room full of the unique odor of the India incense we ended the visit, I asked Jiang Yi what do he most like in "824"?he said "824" gives people a chance to be along that you can remove the mask and talk to your soul.
A new scene of this old place
With cool comic and cartoon graffiti outside the wall and the inside room is divided into dozens of glass rooms, nearly 2000-square-meter old steel factory building becomes the creative comic base.
About one hundred years ago, the first steel factory giant was laid there. Now, after five years there will be a whole new scene of this place. The “798” modern art district where lots of art and fashion pioneers gathered will be move here, then the comic、 performance art and rock singers will right here to start their post-modern life.
